Old Sarum

Sam and I visited the Old Sarum near Salisbury yesterday. It was raised by the Iron age people in about 500 BC. A castle once stood on these grounds but as a Cathedral was built in Salisbury the Castle was abandoned and demolished. Only a few remains can be seen today.

Vet Nursing

I started my new Vet Nursing job this week in Sidcup, Kent. It is a lovely practice, very busy with 1 vet (3 nurses). I am lucky enough to be living above the practice in a 2 bedroom flat. **Please note** the blue sky doesnt happen often :)

Salisbury

Sam and I went and had a look around Salisbury last week. It is a medieval town located only 20minutes from us.
Salisbury Cathedral is very famous for having the tallest spire in Britain. Unfortunately it is having some reconstruction so photos don't look great but the inside was amazing!

Snow Again!!!!!

We lost our little Rav 4 in the snow !!!
All the kids around us (including Sam and me) pulled together to make a snowman...we were going for the biggest snowman ever made however after looking on google, we learnt that the world biggest snowman is over 114 feet tall!

We enjoyed some great snow fights too :)

Hogmanay 09-10

4.5 tonne worth of fireworks sitting at the castle ready to let off at New Year
Concert in the Gradens/SNOW!!! Coldest Hogmanay ever, getting below -5 degrees!
We stood with thousands on a bank, with lots of slipperly snow causing people to slip and slide everywhere! Good fun :)
Concert Stage, every hour they let fireworks off to count down the New Year!
Street Party with about 80,000 people!!!
