Duncan and Lotta's wedding

The main reason for our trip was for Lotta and Duncan's wedding. It was really neat to experience a Finnish wedding. We even tried Reindeer for our dinner!!! Sam taught the Finnish girls his dairy farming dance.

Salo Finland

We took a really flash train out to a lovely town, Salo to meet Duncan and Lotta. Our afternoon was spent Lotta's parents house, a typical Finnish house. We helped out with some last minute wedding preparations and even managed to fit in some sledging!!! We had heaps of fun racing down the driveway and ending in in the snow filled drain.

Helsinki Finland

Last Thursday Sam and I flew to very Helsinki, Finland's capital city. We spent a day having a look around-the snowy harbour was impressive with massive passenger ships surrounded in snow. It was a beautiful clean city with neat trams and buildings.
